All About Numbers – Level 1: Early Math Adventures for Bright Minds
Offered by: Bright Kids Virtual Primary School – After-School Club Program
Course Overview:
All About Numbers – Level 1 is a lively, three-month foundational math program designed for children aged 4 to 6 years. This course by Bright Kids Virtual Primary School introduces essential number concepts in an imaginative, interactive way.
Through joyful activities like number hunts, counting songs, and creative crafts, young learners build strong number recognition skills (1–20) and oral counting abilities up to 50, gradually progressing to skip counting in 10s up to 100.
Key operations such as basic addition and subtraction are taught through fun methods like finger addition, story sums, toys, snacks, and engaging math games that make learning a playful adventure.
Students will also explore shape recognition, spot patterns in colors, nature, and sounds, and develop early number sense with comparisons, ordering, and the concept of “one more and one less.” Gentle introductions to the basics of multiplication and division help children understand grouping and sharing through activities like ‘sharing picnics’ and ‘divide and draw.’
