Number Ninjas: Mental Math Mastery – Level 1 is a dynamic and engaging two-month course designed for children aged 5 years and above. This after-school program strengthens core mathematical thinking through interactive learning, mental strategies, and problem-solving activities that enhance speed, logic, and confidence.
This course is ideal for young learners who are beginning to explore numbers, patterns, and operations, with a focus on developing quick recall and foundational math fluency.
What Students Will Learn:
Month 1 – Counting, Place Value & Basic Operations:
Forward and backward counting
Skip counting by 2, 5, and 10
Introduction to addition and subtraction
Mental addition and subtraction strategies
Solving sums using objects, number lines, and counting methods
Addition and subtraction word problems
Understanding place value concepts
Making bundles to learn ones and tens
Month 2 – Geometry & Introduction to Multiplication:
Introduction to 2D and 3D shapes
Difference between 2D and 3D shapes
Counting edges, vertices, and surfaces of 3D shapes
Completing geometric patterns
Introduction to multiplication strategies
Grouping objects for multiplication
Repeated addition
Making arrays
